Future Works
THXNET. will gradually expand its network topology, incorporating more complex business applications and Data Mesh integrations. Several aspects will require continuous refinement and optimization, including:
Data retention in Blockchain Layer and Data Mesh Layer:
Enterprises, organizations, and individuals using THXNET. will have more flexible options to determine which data to retain. For example, they can discard more trivial events or log-like information, only preserving snapshots and key conclusions. This approach allows for more efficient data management and storage in both the Blockchain Layer and Data Mesh Layer.
More flexible Layer-0 and Layer-1 communication
The trade-offs THXNET. takes for blockchain network security involve stabilizing the blockchain network by federating Layer-0 (L0) and Layer-1 (L1), prioritizing availability and security. However, as the network evolves, some Leafchains (L1) should be able to operate more independently to gain greater flexibility and potential efficiency improvements (by omitting federated consensus security). Communication between Rootchain and Leafchain can transition to a purely cross-chain form, involving only essential communication and data synchronization without interfering with each other's consensus process. This approach would enable a more adaptive and efficient network infrastructure, catering to the evolving needs of the Web3 ecosystem.
Runtime optimization and security
The WASM Runtime in both Blockchain Layer and Data Mesh Layer will continuously be optimized using the advanced and secure Rust language. This optimization will appropriately incorporate various WASM Host Functions, enabling the WASM Runtime to handle more complex business applications and Data Mesh use cases. Simultaneously, efforts will be made to ensure that no confidential information is leaked during the operation of the WASM Runtime, maintaining a high level of security and privacy for all users within the ecosystem.
More friendly APIs, SDKs
Each layer within the THXNET. ecosystem will offer a wider variety of SDKs in different programming languages and develop more flexible tools. This approach will make it easier for users to implement new ideas within the THXNET. ecosystem and conveniently manage an increasing number of application services.
More accurate automation in each layer
Building and testing blockchain networks can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. To maintain high productivity, THXNET. will continuously optimize the automation of building and testing among Rootchain/Leafchain and Data Mesh.
More integration with Substrate, Cosmos, Ethereum and other blockchain technologies
Last but not least, THXNET. places great emphasis on the practicality of bridging Web2.0 and Web3. The crucial step in achieving this is to enhance the integration between different protocols to realize a true Hybrid Network.
