# Layered DAO

### Layered DAO Architecture

THXNET.'s Rootchain operates as a public blockchain implementing Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus. This governance framework enables broad participation from ecosystem members, including Leafchain users, in THXNET.'s primary decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

A distinguishing feature of the THXNET. governance model is its innovative Layered DAO mechanism. This structure provides each Leafchain with its own dedicated governance framework while maintaining connection to the broader ecosystem. This approach promotes autonomous decision-making at the Leafchain level while preserving cohesive ecosystem alignment, creating an optimal balance between independence and collaboration.

### Decision Implementation Framework

When governance decisions are finalized through the DAO process, implementation follows structured protocols:

* On-chain parameters or operations (including runtime upgrades) are executed according to predetermined schedules.
* For application-related or Web2.0 integration operations requiring automation, THXNET.'s off-chain workers invoke pre-assigned [data product](/white-paper/data-mesh.md) to execute the necessary processes.

### Implementation Examples

The Layered DAO framework enables a diverse range of automated operations, including:

* Initiating coordinated marketing campaigns across applications
* Executing systematic data migration processes
* Implementing credibility scoring methodologies
* Deploying targeted ecosystem enhancement initiatives

This governance architecture ensures that both technical and business operations can be managed through decentralized decision-making processes, maintaining both efficiency and democratic participation.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://thxnet.gitbook.io/white-paper/layered-dao.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
